A TENNESSEE WOMAN HAD TO HAVE HER LEG AMPUTATED AFTER BEING ATTACKED BY HER OWN DOG.(PHOTO).

 A Tennessee woman had to have her leg amputated after being attacked by her own dog. This terrifying incident occurred in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee home of 42-year-old Amanda Mears.  On the evening of December 10th, Amanda was preparing to take her dog, a Pit Bull/ American Staffordshire mix, named "Dennis" out for a walk.  As the two were making their way to the door, Amanda's other dog Ralphie, an American Bully, escaped from the room she was keeping him in.  In the blink of an eye, a vicious dog fight erupted. Amanda, who fosters dogs that have been abandoned, is no stranger to dog fights and jumped between the battling dogs in an attempt to stop the fight.  However, this turned out to not be your typical situation.  ‎Tinubu should intervene before erosion wipes out Anambra Communities of Ekwulobia, Oko -U.S-based Attorney

‎Dr Okwudili Ezeike is a US based – Attorney, Public Heath Expert and the Coordinator, Odimma Ekwulobia, a 1 organization. In a  telephone interview with a Correspondent from the Authority Newspaper over the weekend, 

‎the Ikeakachi 1of Ekwulobia draws President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s attention to what he described as havoc being caused by menace of erosion in Anambra Communities of Ekwulobia, Oko and environs before they are wiped out. According to him;

‎"The erosion menace has led to increased risk of diseases. In fact, anecdotal data show that among residents of these areas, there is some associated relationship between the increase in erosion devastation and increase in incidents of recorded waterborne diseases and respiratory illnesses due to contaminated water and air"

‎He praised Governor for his effort so far in controlling this erosion menace, he acknowledged that if not for the effort of Governor Soludo greater part of Ekwulobia and Oko would have been wiped out 

‎"The State government has been providing interventions by way of construction of drainage channels in the affected communities. These immediate interventions have been lifesaving and a welcome development to the communities. In fact, without this state government efforts, it is safe to say, a greater part of both Oko and Ekwulobia communities would have been completely wiped out."

‎Finally, he called in president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to assist governor soludo to stop this erosion menace.

‎"President, please come to the assistance of our communities to help us stop this erosion menace. It may interest Mr. president to know that the country home of the former second citizen of Nigeria, Late Dr. Alex Ekwueme is currently under threat; Governor, I want to applaud all the efforts thus. The communities are very appreciative of all your efforts. Thank you so much"
