 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. ‎Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has officially unveiled and commissioned the Aba Export Growth Lab to boost business and provide a platform for export development within the State.

‎Speaking at the Aba Export Growth Lab complex located in the premises of Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, Governor Alex Otti noted that Aba has always needed a whole lot more support than it has been getting for decades

‎He explained that the essence of commissioning the Aba Export Growth Lab is to support entrepreneurs in the State to structure their production, standardise and package their products in a way that the products would be competitive in the global market.

‎"So, what we have come here to do is to support our people to structure their production, standardise, package and brand their products in such a way that it will be competitive in the international market."

‎"the things that we are producing in Aba and Abia, we can sell them beyond the borders of Aba and Abia"

‎Alex Otti urged entrepreneurs In the state to position themselves and their products for a global market stating that "if you cannot compete globally, don’t even try because you will just waste your time. And history records that there are a lot of countries, including Japan, that developed after the war through export"
