South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019. BRYAN KOHBERGER HAS AGREED TO PLEAD GUILTY TO ALL COUNTS IN THE BRUTAL MURDERS OF FOUR UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO STUDENTS, ACCEPTING FOUR CONSECUTIVE LIFE SENTENCES TO AVOID THE DEATH PENALTY.(PHOTO).

Bryan Kohberger has agreed to plead guilty to all counts in the brutal murders of four University of Idaho students, accepting four consecutive life sentences to avoid the death penalty.

The criminology PhD student will officially enter his plea this Wednesday, just weeks before his trial was set to begin in August. Kohberger was charged with killing roommates Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kernodle's boyfriend Ethan Chapin in their off-campus home in November 2022.

The quadruple stabbing shocked the small college town of Moscow, Idaho, and launched a seven-week manhunt before Kohberger's arrest in Pennsylvania. DNA evidence linked him to the crime scene, prosecutors said.

In a letter to victims' families, prosecutors explained that the plea deal ensures Kohberger will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole, while sparing families from decades of potential appeals and uncertainty.

The case captivated national attention and raised questions about campus safety.
