 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  VETERAN ACTRESS SHAFFY BELLO SAYS SHE NO LONGER DATES YOUNGER MEN


Shaffy Bello, a veteran Nollywood actress, has revealed that her time for dating younger men is over and that it was fun while it lasted. 


The elderly and petite actress said young men still hound her for romantic relationships, but her priorities now lie in exploring a marriage where it can be achieved. 


“What I want now is different,” she said. “When I did it, I was having fun. It was for a season, and that season is over. But there’s nothing wrong with it.”


A highly talented and versatile actress, Shaffy said dating younger men was only for fun and kicks and that she never regrets it. But her choices and fancies have shifted over the years.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
