A young graduate from the University of Education, Winneba, has opened up about life after school, revealing how tough things have been since completing two years ago.
According to him, all the promises of jobs after National Service turned out to be “red flags and 419.”
With no white-collar job in sight, he now works as a construction labourer, digging foundations, manholes, carrying blocks and filling.
“I’m proud of what I do. I can’t tell if it’s permanent or temporary, but man must eat. At the right time, things will work,” he said in an Instagram video.
“Your degree alone won’t save you — it’s about what you can do," he advised other jobless graduates.
