 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Tears As Seven Victims Of Ungwan Rimi Attack Laid To Rest In Kauru


The community of Ungwan Rimi in Kamuru ward was thrown into mourning on Saturday as seven residents killed in last week’s gunmen attack were laid to rest.


Family members, friends, and sympathizers gathered in grief as the victims were buried amid wails and prayers. 


The August 24 assault left seven people dead, several injured, and parts of the community destroyed, marking yet another tragedy in Kaduna’s Kauru Local Government Area.


Community leaders described the burial as a painful reminder of the fragility of life in the face of recurring violence, while many residents expressed anger over what they see as government failure to protect rural communities from incessant attacks.


“The loss of these innocent lives is a wound on our hearts. We can only pray for healing and for God’s mercy on our land,” one mourner said.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
