 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A VIRGINIA PRE-SCHOOL WORKER WAS FIRED AFTER TYING A 21-MONTH-OLD TODDLER TO A CHAIR.(PHOTO).

 A Virginia pre-school worker was fired after tying a 21-month-old toddler to a chair.


This incident took place last month at VINCI School Alexandria North- in Alexandria, Virginia. 


Fortunately, the entire ordeal was captured on the school's security cameras. When the school administration became aware of the incident, they reported it to the state licensing office and child protective services.


In the security footage, you see the unidentified teacher's assistant use a blanket to tie a 21-month-old toddler to a chair for approximately 22 minutes! There was a teacher in the room at the time of the incident who failed to intervene on the child's behalf. Many people in the community find it equally unacceptable for the assistant to do this while another teacher watched and did nothing to help the toddler. 


When questioned about the incident, the teacher's assistant said she had restrained the child for "throwing food on the floor" and "moving tables" during lunch. She went on to defend her actions by asserting that she did not tie the child up tightly. 


The teacher's assistant in question has been fired as a result of her actions. The teacher who witnessed the incident and failed to intervene was written up and counciled to report incidents in the future. 


Child Protective Services ultimately deemed the firing was appropriate and declined to press charges after conducting a full investigation. They stated they did not believe the employee acted with malicious intent and the child was not harmed.
