 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. A VIRGINIA PRE-SCHOOL WORKER WAS FIRED AFTER TYING A 21-MONTH-OLD TODDLER TO A CHAIR.(PHOTO).

 A Virginia pre-school worker was fired after tying a 21-month-old toddler to a chair.


This incident took place last month at VINCI School Alexandria North- in Alexandria, Virginia. 


Fortunately, the entire ordeal was captured on the school's security cameras. When the school administration became aware of the incident, they reported it to the state licensing office and child protective services.


In the security footage, you see the unidentified teacher's assistant use a blanket to tie a 21-month-old toddler to a chair for approximately 22 minutes! There was a teacher in the room at the time of the incident who failed to intervene on the child's behalf. Many people in the community find it equally unacceptable for the assistant to do this while another teacher watched and did nothing to help the toddler. 


When questioned about the incident, the teacher's assistant said she had restrained the child for "throwing food on the floor" and "moving tables" during lunch. She went on to defend her actions by asserting that she did not tie the child up tightly. 


The teacher's assistant in question has been fired as a result of her actions. The teacher who witnessed the incident and failed to intervene was written up and counciled to report incidents in the future. 


Child Protective Services ultimately deemed the firing was appropriate and declined to press charges after conducting a full investigation. They stated they did not believe the employee acted with malicious intent and the child was not harmed.
