SOUTHERN KADUNA ADVOCATE, NDI KATO SPONSORS YOUNG IGBO LADY’S SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION, CALLS ON MIDDLE BELT YOUTH TO RISE TO GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES.

Southern Kaduna Advocate, Ndi Kato Sponsors Young Igbo Lady’s Scholarship Application, Calls On Middle Belt Youth To Rise To Global Opportunities

Southern Kaduna-born activist and advocate, Ndi Kato, has revealed her sponsorship of a young Igbo lady’s postgraduate scholarship application to a foreign university, using the gesture to inspire youths from her own community to pursue academic and professional excellence.

According to Kato, the lady reached out after seeing conversations around scholarships for first-class graduates. Despite graduating with a second-class upper (2:1), she confidently pitched herself, explained her financial challenges, and requested sponsorship.

Impressed by her determination, Kato decided to support her through the application process, which is now progressing smoothly.

Kato used the experience to urge youths from the Middle Belt, particularly Southern Kaduna, to emulate such resilience and ambition. She lamented that many young people from her region remain complacent in school and often settle for low-income government jobs rather than pursuing global opportunities.

“The sky is no longer the limit for youths in the South; they are now targeting the sun. We are left behind. We need to be able to compete globally. We cannot and must not live and die in mediocrity,” Kato declared.

Emphasizing that she already supports numerous Southern Kaduna students by paying their school fees, Kato insisted that financial assistance alone is not enough. She challenged young people from her region to actively seek out scholarships, utilize the internet for opportunities, and aim for greatness.

“Please take advantage. We too are made for great things. WAKE UP MIDDLE BELT YOUTH! WAKE UP SOUTHERN KADUNA YOUTH,” she urged passionately.
