Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence.  Instagram introduces new teen limits based on PG-13 rating

Instagram is rolling out new safety measures for teen accounts, introducing restrictions that align content with a PG-13 movie rating. The updates, set to begin Tuesday and fully implemented by the end of the year, are described by Meta as the platform’s most significant changes to teen accounts since their 2024 launch.

Teens under 18 will automatically be placed in the 13+ protection setting, which cannot be changed without parental permission. The system, inspired by the Motion Picture Association’s PG-13 guidelines, limits content to material deemed generally appropriate for teenagers, though some suggestive content or mild language may occasionally appear. Meta is also using age prediction technology to apply these restrictions even for users who claim to be older.

Parents will gain more control over what their teens can see. Options include allowing access to adult content or selecting a stricter “Limited Content” setting that filters out even more material. The updates also block teens from following accounts that regularly share inappropriate content, and they will have a more limited experience with Instagram’s AI features.

Meta says the changes will hide or deprioritize posts containing strong language, risky stunts, or content promoting potentially harmful behaviors, including posts featuring marijuana paraphernalia. These updates build on existing restrictions covering tobacco, alcohol, and graphic imagery. The changes follow increased scrutiny of Meta’s platforms over child safety concerns, including Senate hearings and multiple lawsuits alleging the company failed to protect minors from exploitation and addictive features.
