 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. KANO POLICE COMMAND RECOVERS STOLEN TOYOTA HILUX MOTOR VEHICLE, ARRESTS SUSPECT


The Kano State Police Command is pleased to announce the successful recovery of a stolen vehicle and the arrest of a suspect in connection with the crime. This achievement is a result of the Command's proactive measures and relentless efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety of lives and property in the State.


2.  On 29th September 2025, a report was received from the owner of a Toyota Hilux vehicle with registration number GWA 998 AR, which had been stolen from Ikeja Road, Fagge LGA, Kano State. The Police operatives attached to the Special Intervention Squad (SIS) swung into action and, through intelligence-led technical operation along Airport Road, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State, arrested one Adama Hassan, a 35-year-old female suspect of Deba LGA,  Gombe State, on 6th October 2025, while attempting to conceal the stolen vehicle en route to Niger Republic.


3.  The suspect has confessed to receiving the vehicle from a male suspect from Lafiyan Lamurde LGA, Adamawa State, who is currently on the run. The Police are intensifying efforts to apprehend the suspect at and recover more exhibits.


4.  The Kano State Police Command commends the efforts of the officers involved in this operation and appreciates the support of the public in providing valuable information that led to this achievement. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
