 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. The Federal Government says as Nigeria matches towards greatness, the renewed hope solarization project is one key initiative of the present administration that is delivering clean and affordable electricity to millions of Nigerians 


A statement by the Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi on the occasion of Nigeria's 65 independence anniversary states that the solarization project of the present administration remains the most ambitious project by any government since independence to electrify communities in the country 


The solarization project will in addition deliver significant economic and social benefits including job creation in solar manufacturing installation and maintenance while fostering innovation among Nigerian engineers and entrepreneurs.


Energy Commission of Nigeria which is driving the broader energy reform restates that the solarization project is expected to be the spark that ignites Nigeria's energy revolution with a future where clean and affordable power is accessible to all 


So far the project has provided solar home systems and solar mini grids to hospitals schools and public institutions across the country in the last two years
