So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

Rush announces reunion tour five years after drummer Neil Peart’s death

Five years after the passing of their iconic drummer and lyricist, Neil Peart, the legendary Canadian rock band Rush has announced a long-awaited reunion tour. Founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson revealed plans for a 12-date, seven-city tour set for summer 2026. The tour will begin in June at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, the same venue where the band performed their final concert in 2015, and conclude in Cleveland that September. Stops will also include Mexico City, Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, and Toronto, offering fans across North America a chance to see Rush perform together once more.

Joining Lee and Lifeson on drums will be acclaimed German composer and producer Anika Nilles, who has previously toured with Jeff Beck. “It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of Rush alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil,” Lee shared in a statement. “We could not be more excited to introduce Anika to our fanbase, who we know will give her every chance to live up to that near impossible role.” The duo also hinted that additional musicians may join the lineup for select performances. Earlier this year, Rush released Rush 50, a career-spanning greatest hits collection that concluded with the final songs they played live in 2015. Their 2026 “Fifty Something” tour is being described as both a celebration of the band’s 50-year legacy and a tribute to Peart’s unmatched artistry. In a joint statement, Peart’s widow, Carrie Nuttall-Peart, and daughter, Olivia Peart, said they were “thrilled” to see Rush honor his legacy, adding that this next chapter “promises to be truly unforgettable.”
