 The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO), yesterday, sealed off some buildings/properties across the state over different environmental infractions. They are; * A property on 34, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain causing offensive odour and sewage flowing in the community, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A block of Shops along Powerline Road, Meiran, Alimosho, for the illegal construction and operation of unsanitary toilet facility on a road setback without a permit, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A three-storey building at 38, Adeniji Adele Street, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain. * A building at H29, House of Jesus Street, Langbasa, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, for the deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drains.  Grandfather and 3-year-old granddaughter named among Louisville UPS plane crash victims

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - At least 13 people were killed in the UPS plane crash near Louisville on Tuesday.

The cargo jet went down south of Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport around 5:15 p.m. as it was departing for Hawaii. The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the incident.

Two of the victims have been identified as Louisnes Fedon and his 3-year-old granddaughter, Kimberly Asa. UPS confirmed the identities of the crew onboard: Captain Richard Wartenberg, First Officer Lee Truitt, and International Relief Officer Captain Dana Diamond.

“Our hearts go out to every UPSer affected and the entire Louisville community. Supporting you and ensuring access to care and resources is our top priority,” said UPS Executive Vice President Nando Cesarone.
