 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  INEC declares Soludo winner of Anambra Gov poll


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Chukwuma Soludo winner of the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State.

According to the electoral umpire, Soludo, candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) polled 422,664 to defeat his closest rival, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 99,445. 

The candidate of the Young People Party (YPP), Paul Chukwuma scored 37,753 votes to secure third position while the Labour Party’s candidate, Dr George Moghalu came distant fourth with 10,576 votes.

Announcing the results of the election Sunday morning, State Returning Officer, and Vice Chancellor, University of Benin, Prof Edoba Omoregie said Soludo was returned Governor after securing the highest number of votes cast in the exercise.

He said: “I Prof Edoba Omoregie thereby certify that I’m the Returning Officer in the Anambra state governorship election held on November 8, 2025.

“I also certify that the election was keenly contested and that a winner emerged as the candidate with the highest number of votes cast.

“I therefore declare that Soludo Charles Chukwuma of the APGA, having satisfied the requirements of the law has scored the highest number of votes is hereby declared the winner and returned elected.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
