 Court Jails Saleh Mamman 75 years for N33.8billion Fraud, Orders security agencies to arrest him Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday,  May 13, 2026  sentenced a former Minister of power, Saleh Mamman to 75 years imprisonment  for money laundering charges.  Mamman,   who was absent in court,  was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,   for money laundering to the tune of N33,804,830,503,73( Thirty Three Billion,  Eight Hundred and Four Million,  Eight Hundred and Thirty Thousand,  Five Hundred and Three Naira,  Seventy Three kobo).  Justice Omotosho convicted him last week on all the 12-count charges preferred against him by the EFCC but deferred his sentence to Wednesday.  Amazon MGM Studios has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming biopic Madden, giving fans a glimpse of Nicolas Cage as NFL Hall of Famer John Madden. 

Directed by David O. Russell, the film follows Madden's path from Super Bowl-winning head coach of the Oakland Raiders to beloved broadcaster and the inspiration behind the iconic Madden NFL video game series.


The teaser mixes classic 1970s Raiders footage with new scenes, highlighting Cage's portrayal of Madden's enthusiastic personality. Christian Bale stars as Raiders owner Al Davis, joined by Kathryn Hahn as Virginia Madden, John Mulaney as Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins, Sienna Miller as Carol Davis, and Shane Gillis in a supporting role.Inspired by real events, Madden explores the origins of one of gaming's most popular franchises. The movie is set to premiere on Prime Video on Thanksgiving 2026.
