🇳🇴 Daniel Daga Sentenced by Norwegian Court, Appeals Verdict Molde FK midfielder Daniel Daga has been sentenced to six months in prison by a Norwegian court after being found guilty of committing a sexual act without consent. The Nigerian midfielder joined Molde FK from Enyimba just a year ago as one of the promising young talents to move from the NPFL to Europe. However, Daga has appealed the ruling through his lawyer, meaning the decision is not yet legally final and the case will continue through the Norwegian judicial system.  Defence Minister Musa Calls For Unity, Peace In Kaduna

The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa Gwabin (retd.), has called on residents of Kaduna State to embrace unity, forgiveness and collective responsibility as key pillars for lasting peace and development.

Musa made the call during a reception organised in his honour at the Atyab Buffet in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of the state.

He expressed gratitude to the people of the area for the warm reception and their sustained support and prayers over the years, describing unity as vital to Kaduna State’s progress.

According to him, bitterness and division impede development, while forgiveness and reconciliation foster harmony and shared advancement.

“By focusing on our shared values and common interests, we can work together to build a more peaceful and prosperous Kaduna State,” he said.

The defence minister commended Governor Uba Sani for his efforts at sustaining peace in the state, noting that the governor was represented at the event by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe.

He also acknowledged the Paramount Chief of Zangon Kataf Chiefdom, Sir Dominic Yahaya Gambo, for his prayers for lasting peace and for recognising outstanding sons and daughters of the chiefdom.

Musa urged citizens to continue to prioritise unity, reconciliation and service to the state and the nation.

The event, held on December 27, 2025, was attended by traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders.
