 Rape Suspect Escapes from Police Custody in Rivers State A male suspect, identified simply as Goodnews, who allegedly defiled a 16-year-old girl in the Rupokwu community, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, last week, has escaped from police custody. The case was being investigated by the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Port Harcourt. It was gathered that the suspect escaped when the scene of the crime was visited as part of the investigation procedures. The suspect was earlier arrested by operatives of the Special Area Rumudomaya and transferred to the State CID, Port Harcourt, last week. According to the father of the alleged defilement victim, Mr. Prince, when they arrived at the scene of the crime, which is their compound, the suspect, who was not handcuffed by the Investigating Police Officer, was having difficulty opening the padlock on his door. Junior Andre has opened up about his Christmas plans, revealing how he will divide the holiday between his parents, Peter Andre and Katie Price.

 Despite long-standing tension between the two, Junior says he remains close to both and has arranged his time to ensure he can celebrate with each side of his family.


He explained that he plans to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with his father and siblings before heading to his mother’s home later in the day to continue the celebrations. Junior noted that the arrangement works well for him and allows him to maintain balance during the festive period.


The 20-year-old also shared that this Christmas will be especially meaningful as it marks the first holiday he will spend with his girlfriend, Jasmine Orr. He added that family remains a priority for him as he continues to build his own path and career.
