 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  Two Horrific Murders Shock Nkuzana Village


Nkuzana village was left reeling on Saturday afternoon, 09 August 2025, after two horrific incidents of murder unfolded at Nkuna Kraal Mall at around 15h00.


According to reports, a female police sergeant was out with two adults and her six-year-old child when her estranged husband, from whom she had been separated for about seven months, approached her.


An argument is alleged to have erupted between the two, during which the husband drew a service firearm and shot the woman in the upper body. As he attempted to run to his vehicle to flee, members of the community who had witnessed the incident chased him down, assaulted him, and set him alight next to his vehicle. The vehicle was also burnt beyond recognition.


Police later confirmed that both the male and female deceased were sergeants, the man attached to the Thohoyandou K9 Unit, and the woman stationed at the Beit Bridge port of entry.


The police have opened murder cases and are calling on anyone with information that could assist in identifying the suspects involved in the assault and burning to contact Detective Sergeant Stanley Chauke on 072 554 3141.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
