Ehiemere made the assertion in his New Year message to party members and Nigerians, released on Friday, January 2, in which he said APGA remains focused on restoring security and economic stability in the South-East and the country at large.

The APGA chieftain said the party was on a deliberate mission to rescue the South-East and Nigeria from terrorism, banditry and other forms of insecurity that have continued to threaten lives and livelihoods.

Ehiemere said APGA was well-positioned to take over Abia State and reclaim all South-East states in the next polls, citing growing acceptance of the party across the region.

He urged party members to remain committed and united as APGA prepares for what he described as a defining political contest in 2027.

“APGA, under the leadership of Sly Ezeokenwa, will lead the party to victory as we take over Abia and the entire South-East states in 2027,” he added.
