  Cops crash massive LA street takeover, towing 100 cars and detaining hundreds Cops sprung a massive sting on alleged street-racing hooligans in South Los Angeles early Saturday — reportedly detaining hundreds and preparing to haul away scores of vehicles. The Los Angeles Police Department told The California Post that officers issued a tactical alert at 3:21 a.m. and were still working the scene hours later, as of 9 a.m. No details were immediately available on arrests or citations from the LAPD. Video from the scene showed dozens of officers surrounding a massive crowd as people wandered between cars trapped at the intersection of South Figueroa Street and West Alondra Boulevard. Tow trucks stood by, ready to pounce.  Presidency Directive: Customs Officially Reopens Tsamiya–Segbana Border Post In Kebbi


The Nigeria Customs Service has officially reopened the Tsamiya–Segbana border post in Kebbi State, linking Nigeria with Benin and the Niger Republic. This is in line with President Bola Tinubu’s directive to reopen the border post to boost regional trade and strengthen border security.


 Usman Abdullahi Shehu reports that the reopening also which follows high-level engagements between the three countries is already easing the movement of goods across the borders.
