 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  Pulp Fiction actor Peter Greene’s cause of death disclosed

The New York City medical examiner has confirmed the cause of death for actor Peter Greene, who passed away on Dec. 12 at the age of 60.

According to the report, Greene died from an accidental gunshot wound to his left armpit, which injured the brachial artery. He was found in his Manhattan apartment during a wellness check two months earlier. Greene was best known for his role as the villainous security guard Zed in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction.

Born Oct. 8, 1965, in Montclair, New Jersey, Greene began acting in his 20s, first appearing on NBC’s crime drama Hardball in 1990, followed by his feature debut in Laws of Gravity (1992) opposite Edie Falco. He earned critical acclaim for his performance in Clean, Shaven, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival, before landing major roles in The Mask and Pulp Fiction in 1994.

Greene continued to appear in films such as The Usual Suspects, Training Day, Blue Streak, and The Bounty Hunter, as well as TV series including The Black Donnellys, Life on Mars, and Chicago P.D.

His manager, Gregg Edwards, confirmed that Greene is survived by a brother and a sister.
