 OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS TERRORIST INFILTRATION, DISRUPTS LOGISTICS NETWORKS, ARRESTS COLLABORATORS The Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) has recorded significant operational successes in its ongoing counterterrorism and counterinsurgency campaign across the North-East. Through a combination of offensive operations, intelligence-led actions, and collaboration with local security stakeholders, troops successfully foiled a terrorist infiltration attempt and disrupted terrorist logistics and support networks, further degrading the operational capabilities of insurgent groups in the Theatre. In Borno State, troops responded swiftly to the sighting of terrorists advancing toward the North East Theatre Training School, Buni Yadi, at about 9:00 a.m. on 9 June 2026. Employing coordinated and precise fire missions, the troops neutralized the threat and denied the terrorists freedom of action. PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES ADEOLU OREOFE, WINNER OF THE 2026 AFRICAN SPELLING BEE CHAMPIONSHIP


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu celebrates 14-year-old Adeolu Oluwadamilola Oreofe for emerging as the 2026 African Spelling Bee Champion in the Junior Category of the competition held recently in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Oreofe, a student of St. Lawrence Metropolitan College in Ado Ekiti, defeated contestants from over 20 African countries to claim the continental crown, which comes with a $5,000 educational scholarship.


The President acknowledges that the outstanding achievement reflects the importance of sustained investment in education, literacy, and youth development.

He applauds the student's dedication, as well as the unwavering support of parents, teachers, and mentors who contributed to this remarkable success.

The President notes that Oreofe did not allow earlier disappointments to deter her from her determination to reach the top.


She finished second at the 2023 MTN Spelling Bee and the 2024 Ekiti State Spelling Bee. She then placed fifth at the 2025 African Spelling Bee and second at the 2025 Nigeria Spelling Bee, before clinching the first prize this year in the continental championship.


“I am convinced that this feat not only brings honour to Nigeria on the continental stage but also serves as an inspiration to millions of young Nigerians to pursue excellence in academics and personal development.

“As a government, we will continue to strengthen the education sector by creating opportunities that enable Nigerian youths to compete and excel globally. I wish Miss Oreofe continued success in her future endeavours”, the President says.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
