ISRAEL DMW REACTS TO ALLEGED EDO STATE BAN ON DAVIDO: 'NO ONE CAN BAN HIM FROM HIS MATERNAL HOME'. (PHOTO).
A playful moment as two friends were wrapping up a tree trimming job turned deadly serious with major legal repercussions.
34-year-old Christopher Crimmins and his co-worker, 26-year-old Tyler Lynch, were working at a job site in Apple Valley, Minnesota, as part of a tree trimming service.
Yesterday, at around 7 p.m., Tyler was cleaning up the ground as Christopher operated the heavy equipment, which included the instrument of Tyler's de*th.
First responders were called to the home on the 5200 block of 132nd Street for a severe medical emergency. When EMS arrived at the home, they discovered Tyler on the ground suffering from a traumatic head injury. Paramedics quickly determined that Tyler's injuries were fatal and he was already deceased.
Officers with the Apple Valley Police Department arrived on the scene and began investigating the circumstances leading to the death of Tyler. They were shocked by the story of Tyler's final moments.
An interview with Christopher would ultimately lead to his arrest and reveal the senseless nature of the fatal incident. According to Christopher, he and Tyler were "f***ing around" after they noticed the way the sun was casting Tyler's shadow on the street, along with the hydraulic grapple's shadow.
Christopher stated that he began manipulating the hydraulic grapple to make it look like the grapple's shadow was "picking up" Tyler's shadow. He said his entire focus was on the shadows and he didn't realize that the real grapple was also moving towards the real Tyler... not just his shadow. Crimmins reports he was watching the grapple's shadow waiting for the hilarious moment when the grapple shadow would grab Tyler's shadow. When he closed the grapple on Tyler's shadow, ready to laugh at the resulting visual, the actual grapple closed on Tyler. It is unclear if Tyler was also watching the shadow show or not.
Sadly, the result of the grapple closing on Tyler's head was catastrophic.
After completing his statement to officers, Christopher Crimmins was arrested on suspicion of second-degree manslaughter.
The incident remains under investigation with the assistance of OSHA, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Allina EMS and Apple Valley Fire Department.
This accident is almost unbelievable but is definitely heartbreaking.
Two guys out working to earn a living and feeling goofy at the end of a long day, resulting with one deceased and one in jail facing serious charges.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Tyler Lynch.
