Taking to social media, Israel, an Edo State indigene himself, insisted that no individual has the authority to prevent the music icon from entering or performing in the state. The Alleged Ban and Its Origins The controversy erupted following statements reportedly made by Apostle Kassy Chukwu, the Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media to the Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo. In a widely circulated video, Chukwu allegedly claimed that Davido had been barred from the state due to derogatory remarks the singer made against Governor Okpebholo during the Osun State governorship election cycle. Jaden Smith’s latest red‑carpet appearance at the Spider‑Man: Brand New Day premiere in Los Angeles drew attention not only because he was joined by his older half‑brother Trey, but also because of his strikingly polished look. 


Known for bold, unconventional fashion statements, Jaden surprised fans by embracing a more classic double‑denim style: a crisp jacket and jeans paired with a white shirt, black tie, and leather shoes. 


The understated ensemble sparked praise online, with many calling it a refreshing departure from his more experimental outfits.


The positive reaction contrasted with some of Jaden’s past headline‑making choices, such as wearing a $4,600 castle headpiece, carrying his own cut dreadlocks at the 2017 Met Gala, or donning a Batman suit to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding.

At a recent Rodeo Drive launch event, his mother Jada praised his commitment to studying fashion history and pushing boundaries. 


Jaden himself admitted he’s still processing the opportunity, but with his first major collection unveiled and warmly received, he seems determined to prove his place in the fashion world is earned.
