Cardi B and her estranged husband, Offset, temporarily set aside their marital differences to co-host a spectacular joint birthday celebration for their children over the weekend. The former couple, who are currently navigating their second divorce, both shared highlights on social media from the double birthday bash held for their son, Wave, and daughter, Blossom.


Wave officially marked his fifth birthday on September 5, while his younger sister, Blossom, celebrated turning two on September 7. To mark the milestones, the proud parents pulled out all the stops with an extravagant dual-themed party designed to satisfy both children's favorite things.

The lavish outdoor event featured two distinct themes: a magical Disney-inspired wonderland for Blossom and an action-packed Sonic the Hedgehog setup for Wave. Cardi B fully embraced the festive spirit, sharing videos of herself dressed up in a playful Minnie Mouse-inspired outfit.


The "Bodak Yellow" rapper also treated her guests to a massive Chipotle buffet, a detail she joyfully highlighted on her Instagram Stories. "Remember when I said if I get married, I’m gonna put a Chipotle stand?" Cardi joked to her followers. "Well, I ain't getting married anytime soon, but I got a whole bunch of kids, and of course, I got a Chipotle stand."


The party also featured a moment in the spotlight for the exes' eldest daughter, eight-year-old Kulture, who showed off her modeling skills with a runway walk and poses set to the song "Gnarly" by Katseye.


Co-Parenting Peacefully Behind the Scenes


While both stars documented the elaborate party for their millions of followers, they maintained their distance on social media. Offset posted an adorable clip of Wave dancing happily with a massive stick of cotton candy, but neither he nor Cardi posted any photos or videos featuring each other.


The joint celebration comes amid a highly publicized split. Cardi B and Offset tied the knot in September 2017 and have experienced a famously tumultuous relationship marked by public ups and downs. After multiple separations and reconciliations, Cardi filed for divorce for the second time in 2024 following persistent rumors of infidelity surrounding the Migos rapper. Despite the legal dissolution of their marriage, the two music stars appear committed to peaceful co-parenting for the sake of their family.
