Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing.                         According to sources,Nigeria musician Lagbaja has refused to perform for Iyiola Omisere campaign organization.Lagbaja was to perform at the Grand finale campaign rally and reception for President Goodluck Jonathan coming up in Osogbo in two weeks time for the PDP Governorship candidate in August 9th Osun state election,but Lagbaja turn down their offer saying ''Though the court of the land discharged and acquainted you {Omisore} in the murder case against the former Minister of Justice in Nigeria,the late Cicero of Esa-Oke and foremost Nationalist,Chief Bola Ige,i have deep rooted innermost conviction that you are culpable in the death of my mentor and bene factor,if you offer me all the allocation of Osun state during your four year tenure par-adventure you win {which i seriously doubt},i will not perform for Iyiola Omisore Governorship election''.Lagbaja sounds like a discipline man,i admire him for that.
