 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. I WILL NOT PERFORM FOR IYIOLA OMISORE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION-LAGBAJA.

                        According to sources,Nigeria musician Lagbaja has refused to perform for Iyiola Omisere campaign organization.Lagbaja was to perform at the Grand finale campaign rally and reception for President Goodluck Jonathan coming up in Osogbo in two weeks time for the PDP Governorship candidate in August 9th Osun state election,but Lagbaja turn down their offer saying ''Though the court of the land discharged and acquainted you {Omisore} in the murder case against the former Minister of Justice in Nigeria,the late Cicero of Esa-Oke and foremost Nationalist,Chief Bola Ige,i have deep rooted innermost conviction that you are culpable in the death of my mentor and bene factor,if you offer me all the allocation of Osun state during your four year tenure par-adventure you win {which i seriously doubt},i will not perform for Iyiola Omisore Governorship election''.Lagbaja sounds like a discipline man,i admire him for that.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
