 Lara Trump admits 'it's a struggle' as she opens up about parenting her two children Lara Trump recently opened up about the everyday realities of parenting, sharing how her two children with Eric Trump Luke and Carolina couldn’t be more different.  On her podcast The Right View, she explained that Carolina, now seven, is adventurous with food and willing to try anything, while Luke, eight, is far more selective. “Every parent, you got one,” she said, calling picky eating a universal challenge. She added that their differences go beyond meals, noting how each child responds to situations in unique ways. Still, they share common ground in their love of sports and animals, something Lara joked they “probably get from her.”  Luke, born in 2017, has already shown passions similar to his father, with Eric posting bike‑ride photos of the two together.  El-Rufai Allies Reportedly Return To APC, Throw Weight Behind Gov. Uba Sani Some political associates and former loyalists of immediate past Kaduna State Governor, Nasiru El-Rufai, have rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared their support for the incumbent governor, Senator Uba Sani, ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to Vanguard, those said to be joining the political camp led by Governor Uba Sani include Bashir Saidu, a former Chief of Staff to El-Rufai, and Abdu Kwari, a former commissioner in the state and former senator. Others are Nasir Abdullahi Maikano, a former Kaduna State chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and three-term member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, who represented Ungwan Sanusi Constituency. Also mentioned is Moukhtar Isa Hazo, a former Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, as well as other grassroots politicians across the state.  APPEAL COURT GIVES NIGERIA POLICE, ARMY VICTORIES   Efforts by the Nigeria Police Force to prosecute a man accused of alleged attempted homicide and machete attack on a victim in faraway Malaysia, has been boosted by the Court of Appeal Abuja Division, as the court ordered that the High Court of the FCT should compel the man's arrest and prosecution.  Prince Okoro Nkemakolam had  approached the appelate court, claiming that the police allegation of attempted homicide filed against him was not sustainable.  The judgement by the three man panel led by Justice Okon Abang is in line with Section 221 & 396 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.  Similarly, the Appeal Court has ruled that the Federal High Court did not give the Nigerian Army fair hearing, when it entertained a fundamental human rights suit filed against the army by an aggrieved individual, Abdeen Abubakar.  Abdeen Abubakar had alleged that they tortured him while in t...

 OPERATION FANSAN YAMMA: TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED DRUG PEDDLER, FOIL TERRORIST ATTACK, RESCUE TWO KIDNAPPED VICTIMS IN KADUNA AND SOKOTO STATES Troops of Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA (JTF NW OPFY), arrested a suspected illicit drug peddler in Kaduna State and foiled a terrorist attack, rescuing two kidnapped victims in Sokoto State, during separate operations on 12 and 13 September 2026. On 12 September 2026, troops of Sector 1, conducting a stop-and-search operation along the Kaduna–Birnin Gwari road, intercepted one Yohana Musa in possession of a large quantity of illicit drugs and substances while en route to Birnin Gwari. The suspect and recovered items are currently in troops’ custody for further investigation. In a separate incident on 13 September 2026, troops of Sector 2 responded to a distress call following a terrorist attack at Unguwan Lalle in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State. ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA CONDUCTS UNSCHEDULED DIVISIONAL VISITS, ORDERS HEIGHTENED ALERTNESS, STATION FACELIFT The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, on 14th September 2026, conducted unscheduled visits to Police Divisions across the State as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen operational readiness, assess personnel preparedness and ensure effective policing at the grassroots. During the visits, the Commissioner inspected the general condition of the Divisions, including facilities, arms, operational equipment and personnel readiness. He also assessed the level of security preparedness and responsiveness of officers and men within the Divisions.
