NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT. Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination. A reinforcement team from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. From my recent research,i found out that most women are no longer interested in home cooking,while some of them don't know how to cook at all.So i have decided to introduce food as one of the topics that will be discussed on my blog.The faith of a woman that does not know how to cook is not a dead end.Many women do not know how to cook because they grew up with a cook or when their mother is cooking,they refused to learn because they felt they were too young to learn and there is still time to learn.If you fall in these category of women that do not know how to cook,please go back to you mothers or if possible buy a cookery book.If you feel that cookery books is confusing to understand,then start watching television programs that teach people how to cook,or you check my blog from time to time to get quick tips.Remove pride,and learn how to cook,as a African woman,it is a pride of a husband if his wife can cook because he will be quick at any given time to invite people to his house to come and eat.Some women knows how to cook,but their problem is timing.Timing in the sense that they learnt the long process of cooking a particular food,so any time they think of the preparations,they just prefer to walk into a eatery and buy food.One more photo below.
