 'We Were Trained by Foreign Instructors': Terrorist Captured by Russian Africa Corps in Mali "They supervised the attack. They only want harm for Mali," recounts the man taken prisoner during the assault on the Bamako airbase on April 25, according to the corps' channel. "My commander abandoned me and fled," the prisoner said in a video published by the unit, Sputnik reported. Noting that he is a member of JNIM*, the prisoner admitted to having joined the group under the influence of terrorists. He confessed to killing civilians and taking their belongings on his commander's orders. The prisoner also denied the terrorists' claims that, in the event of captivity by the Malian Armed Forces or Russian forces, torture and death are inevitable. He maintains that he is living "in good conditions" and being treated "humanely."

THE LEG OF A LAWMA WORKER FUNKE WAS AMPUTATED,AFTER A BUS DRIVER CHINEDU KNOCKED HER DOWN AT IGANDO.

                  38 year old Obi Chinedu a public bus driver,has been arrested and charged before Ejigbo Magistrate for allegedly knocking down a staff of Lagos State Waste Management Authority,LAWMA,which led to the amputation of her leg in a hospital in Lagos state.The incident happened at Cele bus stop along Isheri-Igando expressway where the victim Mrs Funke Olorunda was on official duty.She was rushed to Igando General Hospital where she was referred to the National Orthopedic Hospital in Igobi Lagos.Due to the seriousness of the injury she sustained,her left leg was amputated to save her life.She is now walking with one leg with the aid of a walking stick.The bus driver was arrested and detained at the police station in Idimu Division before he was charged to court with driving in a dangerous manner and knocking down Funke which caused amputation of her leg.Chinedu,through his counsel,informed the court about his regrets concerning the accident and expressed his willingness to settle the matter out of court and treat the victim.The presiding Magistrate,Mrs J.O.E Adeyemi granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in the like sum.Chinedu was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when he will perfect his bail condition.The case was adjourned till 6th of September,2015.
