 Court Jails Fake American, Two others in Kaduna   Justice A.A Isiaka of the Kaduna State High Court, sitting in Kaduna has convicted and sentenced a fake American,  Stephen Thomas to five years imprisonment.  He was jailed after pleading guilty to one-count charge bordering on impersonation by the Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.   His charge reads: “That you, Stephen Thomas (a.k.a Rolanda Collins), male, sometimes in February,  2024 at Narayi Kaduna within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court fraudulently impersonated one Rolando Collins (an American citizen) on Facebook and in such assumed character, cheated one Kate Stewarton (an American citizen) the sum of $100(One Hundred USD) and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 308 and punishable under Section 309 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law 2017.”   He pleaded “guilty” to the charge when it was read to him which prompted the prosecution counsel, M. NIGERIAN PRISON SERVICE,DEBUNKS RUMOURS OF CHARLES OKAH'S DEATH TODAY.

               Today wednesday,the Nigerian Prisons Service denied the speculated death of Charles Okah.Rumours had it that Charlse Okah died in prison shortly after he returned from court yesterday tuesday where he attempted to kill himself.The Nigerian Prisons Service spokesman,Francis Enobore,was quoted as saying that the suspect was not dead.Yesterday tuesday,Charles Okah was prevented from committing suicide while in court by security operatives attached to Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court Abuja.He is being tried for terrorism,,the alleged mastermind of the 2010 independence day bombing in Abuja in which scores of people died.In the absence of his counsel in the course of Tuesday's proceedings,he asked Justice Kolawole for permission to speak on what he described as endless trial.Immediately he ended his speech,he took a chair and rushed toward a window on the third floor of the five storey building and tried to take a plunge through the window before security operatives grabbed him.Like seriously,people online publishers should learn to verify their stories before publishing.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
