 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. LAGOSIANS DON'T PANIC,AS THE NIGERIAN AIR FORCE COMMENCES NIGHT FLIGHT TRAINING EXERCISE TODAY.

               The Lagos State Governmnt has advised Lagosians not to panic as the Nigerian Air Force commences night flying training exercise in the state tonight.The exercise according to the State's Commissioner for Information and Strategy,Mr Steve Ayorinde,is to commence today 18th to 23rd April,as from 7.00pm-11.00pm daily.The exercise will involve the usage of the C-130 Hercules Aircraft by the Nigerian Air Force and the 201 Heavy Airlift Group.The Commissioner further explained that the C-130 Hercules Air Crafy will fly very low in some locations across the State,but assured that residents should not panic as all precautionary and safety measures have been put in place.He assured that residents should go about their normal duties,as the exercise is to be conducted with a very insignificant discomfort.Ayorinde said ''The only unusualness of the exercise is the low flying nature of the air craft and the increase in noise level which will be noticed during the six days exercise,only along the training routes''.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
