 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   President Tinubu Reconstitutes the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the reconstitution of the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), following the Senate's confirmation of its members on December 16.   Members of the reconstituted Board are:   • Mulisiu Olalekan Oseni, PhD. — Chairman   Dr Oseni started his service as a Commissioner in January 2017. He was subsequently appointed Vice Chairman of the Commission.   His appointment as Chairman took effect from 1 December 2025 and shall subsist until the completion of his ten-year tenure at the Commission, in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2023.   • Yusuf Ali, PhD. — Vice Chairman   Dr Ali was first appointed as a Commissioner in February 2022.                           Senate President,Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki yesterday thursday commended President Muhammadu Buhari,the Nigerian Security Services,the government of Switzerland,and the International Community for the combined efforts that led to the release of the 21 Chibok schoolgirls.Senator Saraki said ''We join all Nigerians to rejoice on the return of our daughters.Our thoughts and prayers remain with the families of those who have returned,and those girls who remain in the hands of the terrorists.It is our hope that the release of more of the girls is imminent and that our nation remains vigilant in the face of the continued crisis in North East Nigeria.The release of the 21 girls is a testament to the perseverance of our men and women in the uniform,the civilian joint task force and a clear indication that this government has been relentless in securing their release.Moving forward,we need to ensure that the girls that have been returned back to us are re-united with their families,and rehabilitated to become full members of our society.We must also not take our foot off the gas,Nigerians must continue to be united and insistent on the safe return of the other girls that are still in the hands of Boko Haram,'' he said.More photos below of the just released missing Chibok girls.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
