 HERDSMEN KILL DRIVER ON HUMANITARIAN MISSION IN TARABA STATE  10th January, 2026      A commercial driver, Mr. Amishe Omeny, has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen while on a humanitarian visit to a displaced community in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The deceased, from Tse Amise after Tseem, was reportedly attacked on Friday within Chanchanji Ward as he travelled to Adokia, a displaced settlement located after Tseem Sabe. He was said to have gone to the area to assist villagers with the transportation of foodstuffs. Sources in the community told Benue Info-pedia, that Omeny volunteered his services as a driver to support residents affected by ongoing insecurity, when he was ambushed and killed by the assailants. The killing has sparked grief and outrage among residents, who described the incident as tragic and senseless. PRINCE CHARLES SENT A CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO POPE TAWADROS II OF EGYPT,AFTER THE EXPLOSION AT ST PETER 2 DAYS AGO.{PHOTOS}.

Related image                                                 Yesterday the 12th of December 2016,Prince Charles who is The Prince of Wales,sent a message of condolence to Pope Tawadros II following the explosion at St Peter's Coptic Orthodox church in Cairo on the 11th of December 2016.The message reads
                                                                                                        12th December,2016.



         I wanted to send to Your Holiness,and to all members of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt and across thee world,my most profound sympathy over the unbearable inhuman attack on the chapel adjacent to St Mark's Cathdral.Those guilty of this terrible crime are clearly seeking,in their brutal way,to create divisions within Egyptian society,as we have seen only on Friday with the barbaric murder of six policemen in Giza.The steadfastness of Egyptian in the face of such appalling hatred and extremism is greatly to be admired.
         I can only begin to imagine the dreadful shock and grief that Copts,and indeed all Egyptian,must be feeling and my heart goes out to the families and loved ones of those who have been killed and wounded
         I wanted to assure Your Holiness that Copts everywhere,and especially in Egyptt,are in my thoughts and special prayers as they try to cope with the loss,pain and fear that the attack has inflicted upon them.
Even the Catholic Pope,Pope Francis also called the Pope to also express his condolence.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
