 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE ADVOCACY VISIT: CP OMOLORI HOSTS BACATMA, RENEWS COMMITMENT TO PUBLIC HEALTH, PLEDGES FULL SUPPORT FOR 2026 ITN DISTRIBUTION CAMPAIGN The Bauchi State Police Command has pledged its full support to the 2026 Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) Distribution Campaign following an advocacy visit and formal request from the Bauchi State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Malaria (BACATMA). During the visit on 24th August, 2026, Executive Chairman BACATMA, Dr. Adamu Sambo sought the Command’s partnership to ensure the safe, secure, and timely distribution of Insecticide-Treated Nets to households across all 20 Local Government Areas of the State. The Commissioner of Police stated that the campaign, being executed under the National Malaria Elimination Programme in collaboration with the U.S. Government Global Health Supply Chain Program, is consistent with the Command’s core mandate of safeguarding lives and property, and su...

      Ittu Affiong Theresa Tommy is a principal suspect in two cases of fraud, contractual malpractices and obtaining goods under false pretence to the tune of N1billion and $1.4million respectively. 
Ittu allegedly received about N1billion from a government agency as payment for contracts which she failed to properly execute.Furthermore, the suspect is alleged to have fraudulently collected aircraft parts worth $1,416,000 from a Russian company and evaded payment. The suspect has failed to honour the Commission’s invitation and is currently at large. 48-year-old Ittu is fair in complexion. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
