 TROOPS STALL TERRORISTS'  MISSION TO ATTACK COMMUNITY, NAB SUSPECTED GUN RUNNERS IN ADAMAWA, SEIZE ARMS Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed for Counter terrorism operations in North East Nigeria, in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force, have successfully intercepted a group of terrorists on transit to unleash attack in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State.  The troops on fighting patrol near Wuro Jabbe encountered the terrorists who were on a mission to attack the community. Troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce fire-fight that compelled them to succumb and abandon their firearms. The troops captured one  PKM Machine Gun, 402 rounds of 7.62 mm x 54 NATO ammunition and 110 rounds of 7.62 mm NATO. In a separate but related operation, troops responding to actionable intelligence intercepted 3 persons suspected of gun running in the Sukuk Community, located in the Madagali Local Government Area of the state.        A Female Teacher in Kenya had her teaching practice terminated for putting on short skirts/dresses.She was fired on the 12 of June 2018 A#at St Mary's Mumias Girls High School.
The above Termination letter reads:
 
   RE-TERMINATION OF TEACHING PRACTICE
I hereby terminate your Teaching Practice in this school as per Regulation 65 {a} {b} and {c} of the Code of Regulations for Teachers in that,
{i{ You defied lawful authority in regards to your scanty manner of dressing.
{ii} You did not conduct yourself in a manner that befits a responsible and professional teacher.
 You are required to hand over with immediate effect all school records and property by the close of the business on this 12th day of June,2018.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
