 UNACCEPTABLE – GOV. ALIA BLASTS MBALOM KILLINGS, ASSURES JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS  Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condemned the latest attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, while assuring residents of intensified efforts to protect lives and property. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the governor reacted to reports of an assault by suspected armed herdsmen on the community, an incident that adds to recurring security concerns in parts of the state. Alia said the attack represents a direct threat to the peace and security of Benue, noting a disturbing pattern of what he described as calculated and selective assaults. He expressed sympathy to affected families and reiterated his administration’s resolve to confront criminal elements.        A Female Teacher in Kenya had her teaching practice terminated for putting on short skirts/dresses.She was fired on the 12 of June 2018 A#at St Mary's Mumias Girls High School.
The above Termination letter reads:
 
   RE-TERMINATION OF TEACHING PRACTICE
I hereby terminate your Teaching Practice in this school as per Regulation 65 {a} {b} and {c} of the Code of Regulations for Teachers in that,
{i{ You defied lawful authority in regards to your scanty manner of dressing.
{ii} You did not conduct yourself in a manner that befits a responsible and professional teacher.
 You are required to hand over with immediate effect all school records and property by the close of the business on this 12th day of June,2018.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
