 KADGIS To Introduce Land Agents Registration To Tackle Property Fraud The Kaduna State Geographic Information Service (KADGIS) has announced plans to introduce a registration system for land agents as part of efforts to improve accountability and reduce property-related fraud in the state. The Director-General of KADGIS, Dr Bashir Ibrahim, disclosed this on Wednesday in Kaduna during a town hall meeting on the 2026 Land Administration Reforms. Ibrahim explained that the proposed system would require every land agent operating in Kaduna State to obtain a unique and non-transferable agent code. According to him, the code would make it easier for KADGIS to identify the agents involved in land transactions and determine responsibility whenever disputes or fraudulent activities occur. “Every agent must obtain an agent code. NAFDAC WARNS NIGERIANS AGAINST TAKING 'MAISHAYI' TEA MADE BY HAUSA TEA VENDORS.{PHOTO}.

     The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has warned Nigerians to be cautious when taking cup of tea popularly known as `Maishayi’ from Hausa tea vendors.
NAFDAC Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, gave the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja today Monday February 24th. The NAFDAC boss said the agency received information that the Hausa tea vendors now mix intoxicating drugs in the tea prepared for customers.
According to her, the intoxicating drugs include Tramadol, Vieteling, Marijuana and others, could lead to loss of life after consumption.
“In the US, lots of people are dying because of these medicines. How can such medicines mix with palm wine in the name of getting high in Nigeria?
There are some medicines you cannot take if you have cardiovascular problem’’ she told NAN.
