 MODEL COLLEGES/UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMMENCE E-REGISTRATION FOR YEAR 2025 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION The Lagos State Government has commenced Year 2025 e-Registraton Entrance Examination (Screening Test) for primary 6 pupils transiting to junior secondary schools into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.  The Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu confirmed that the e-Registration will commence on Thursday 6th February and ends on Friday, 16th May, 2025, adding that the Screening will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only between Wednesday, 28th May and Friday, 30th May, 2025, at the various CBT designated centres across the State. Mr. Orunsolu stressed that qualified pupils from public and private Schools are to pay a sum of #10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the Application. ANOTHER LADY RAPED AND MURDERED INSIDE A CHURCH IN IBADAN,OYO STATE.{PHOTOS}.

     Weeks after a UNIBEN student, Uwaila Omozuwa, was raped and murdered inside a church in Edo state, another student, Grace Oshiagwu, was allegedly raped and murdered inside a church in Ibadan Oyo state on Saturday, June 13...
According to reports, Grace, a 21-year-old National Diploma student of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, was allegedly raped and then murdered inside the church located in the Ojoo area of Ibadan in Akinyele Local Government Area. She was discovered with machete cuts on her body.
In a statement released, the spokesperson of the state police command, Gbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the incident but said details of the incident are still sketchy.
This will be the third case of rape and murder of a female in Oyo state in recent times.
Barakat Bello, a student of the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), Federal College of Animal Health and Production, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, was raped and killed on June 1.
On June 5, a 29-year-old woman, Azeezat Somuyiwa, who was seven months pregnant, was also hacked to death by yet to be identified persons in Oyo state.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
