 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings.      Weeks after a UNIBEN student, Uwaila Omozuwa, was raped and murdered inside a church in Edo state, another student, Grace Oshiagwu, was allegedly raped and murdered inside a church in Ibadan Oyo state on Saturday, June 13...
According to reports, Grace, a 21-year-old National Diploma student of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, was allegedly raped and then murdered inside the church located in the Ojoo area of Ibadan in Akinyele Local Government Area. She was discovered with machete cuts on her body.
In a statement released, the spokesperson of the state police command, Gbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the incident but said details of the incident are still sketchy.
This will be the third case of rape and murder of a female in Oyo state in recent times.
Barakat Bello, a student of the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), Federal College of Animal Health and Production, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, was raped and killed on June 1.
On June 5, a 29-year-old woman, Azeezat Somuyiwa, who was seven months pregnant, was also hacked to death by yet to be identified persons in Oyo state.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
