 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence.     Top Lagos socialite and former Dangote Group Secretary, Chioma Madubuko has died at the age of 68.
She passed away on Monday, June 1, at Reddington Hospital, Lagos, after a prolonged battle with multiple sclerosis.
Chioma Madubuko resigned from the services of Dangote Company in January, 2020, where she served for about 12years.
She was an alumnus of the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, where she also obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Madubuko had over 35 years of experience spanning legal practice, banking, manufacturing and real estate.
Prior to joining Dangote Group, she served as secretary of NASCON Allied Industries Plc, Secretary of Lead Bank Plc, Member of International Federation of Women Lawyers, Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Member of Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria.
Madubuko is survived by three children and grandchildren.May her soul rest in peace,Amen.
