KADGIS To Introduce Land Agents Registration To Tackle Property Fraud The Kaduna State Geographic Information Service (KADGIS) has announced plans to introduce a registration system for land agents as part of efforts to improve accountability and reduce property-related fraud in the state. The Director-General of KADGIS, Dr Bashir Ibrahim, disclosed this on Wednesday in Kaduna during a town hall meeting on the 2026 Land Administration Reforms. Ibrahim explained that the proposed system would require every land agent operating in Kaduna State to obtain a unique and non-transferable agent code. LASG EXTENDS FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO PARENTS OF QUADRUPLETS.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Lagos State Government has extended financial support to parents of two sets of quadruplets as a way of complementing the cost of taking care of the children.
The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Segun Dawodu, presented undisclosed sums of money to the families of Mrs. Ibeh Maureen Anayo (Nee Anyaegbu) and Mrs. Abosede Akinola to alleviate any financial strain they encounter in giving adequate care to the newborn babies.
“This gesture is not a one-off thing by the Ministry. This is what we do from time to time. We just cannot afford to close our eyes to people who have found themselves in a challenging situation such as this. It is our responsibility to look for a way to help them and by so doing, the people will know that the government is there for them always”, Dawodu stated.
He advised the parents of the quadruplets to continue to take care of the children, adding that the State Government will ensure that they receive the best of care and further necessary assistance.
Ibeh Maureen Anayo (nee Anyaegbu), mother of a set of the quadruplets, disclosed that the State government stood by her and offered assistance from the 6th of August, 2020 when the babies were born at the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute- Metta.

In her words: “I have been hearing of the State government assisting people in need. However, l used to take such report as mere propaganda, not until now that l am a beneficiary. I must confess that this has not only come to me as a pleasant surprise but a confirmation of what l have been hearing. This financial assistance will go a long way in taking care of my babies. May God bless Lagos State.”
On her part, Mrs. Abosede Akinola, mother of the second set of quadruplets appreciated the gesture of the State Government for reaching out to them, saying “it has not been very easy but with this assistance from Lagos State Government, we will be able to tackle some of the challenges confronting us financially. God will bless the Lagos State Government.”
