 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. ANAMBRA DISABILITY COMMUNITY REJOICES OVER THE APPOINTMENT OF BARRISTER IDIGO AS PERMANENT SECRETARY.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Governor of Anambra state, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, (Ogugua ndi Olusi) has appointed a new permanent secretary with Disability. 

He is Barrister Anthony Idigo, physical challenged.  He was sworn in today along with Ten (10) other permanent secretaries. Barrister Idigo will serve in the Ministry of  women and children affairs. 


We appreciate His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano for continuing  to run inclusive adminstration with love  and care for the Disability community. 


Office of the Governor on Disability matters congratulates Barrister Idigo and prays for Gods Guidance in his service to the good people of Anambra state .

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
