 Anambra to go after houses without proper drainage in order to combat Erosion  Worried by the rising menace of gully erosion, the Anambra State Government has threatened to enforce regulations requiring residents to provide proper drainage for storm water from their homes. The State Executive Council (ANSEC), which announced the proposed enforcement, lamented that erosion remains an existential challenge in Anambra, blaming the situation on careless actions by some communities and lapses by regulatory bodies in enforcing environmental laws. Briefing journalists after the weekly executive council meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, said it had been observed that some residents channel storm water from their homes directly onto roads, where it accumulates and worsens the erosion crisis across the state. “ANSEC has resolved to step up enforcement to compel residents to properly channel and manage storm water from their houses. ANAMBRA DISABILITY COMMUNITY REJOICES OVER THE APPOINTMENT OF BARRISTER IDIGO AS PERMANENT SECRETARY.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Governor of Anambra state, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, (Ogugua ndi Olusi) has appointed a new permanent secretary with Disability. 

He is Barrister Anthony Idigo, physical challenged.  He was sworn in today along with Ten (10) other permanent secretaries. Barrister Idigo will serve in the Ministry of  women and children affairs. 


We appreciate His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano for continuing  to run inclusive adminstration with love  and care for the Disability community.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
