 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Monday named some top politicians who are likely to become Nigeria’s next president and vice in 2023.


In the 90-paged prophecies signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele, mentioned Abubakar Malami, Boss Mustapha, Kayode Fayemi, Rotimi Amaechi, Prof Babagana Zulum, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Mai Mala Buni, Ibikunle Amosun, Godswill Akpabio and Rauf Aregbesola as presidential material on the side of the All Progressives Congress, APC.


According to Primate Ayodele: “Some politicians have been anointed to become the next president and vice president of Nigeria and if their parties give them the tickets.


“For PDP, he mentioned Aminu Tambuwal, Nyesom Wike, Bukola Saraki, Samuel Ortom, Bala Mohammed, Emmanuel Udom, Seyi Makinde, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and Peter Obi.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
