 Single Mother Arrested for Allegedly Killing Twin Sister and Daughter in Enugu A horrific incident has shaken the community of Umuidenyi, Aji, Enugu Ezike, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State, after a single mother, Oluchukwu Odo, was taken into custody for allegedly killing her twin sister and daughter. According to eyewitnesses, the tragic event occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the family's home. Although details leading up to the incident are still unclear, family sources revealed that Oluchukwu's twin sister had visited their parents' home with her daughter when the incident occurred. A neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, recounted the chilling events: "I heard the woman screaming and running towards my door. Former Abia state governor and Senate Chief Whip, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has raised alarm that some people are pursuing him and want to destroy him over his ambition to be President in 2023.


Orji said; “They are Nigerians who want to be President, they are Nigerians who want to set me aside, they are Nigerians who just want to destroy me”.


“There is a lot of Jealousy in the system. A lot of people who think I became very successful at an early age, Why must I have money and have power? is life like that?”


“These People carelessly put me in prison for 6 months for doing nothing. I’m not bitter about it because it’s God’s will and it’s our court system that put me in prison.”


When asked about the N7 billion Fraud case for which he was incarcerated for, Orji stated that he was not guilty adding that he would not like to speak on the matter so as not to be in contempt of court.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
