Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

El-Rufai salutes citizens on Eid el Fitr 

Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has felicitated with the Muslim faithful in Kaduna State on the occasion of Eid el Fitr. The governor offered his congratulations on the successful completion of Ramadan, praying Almighty Allah to accept the acts of worship, abstinence and charity that many citizens undertook during the period. 

While extending his wishes for a peaceful celebration of Eid el Fitr, the governor urged the Muslim faithful to extend the Ramadan spirit into everyday life, practicing faith and worship in the most noble tradition, and treating fellow humans with charity and generosity of spirit. He urged citizens to keep hope alive amidst the current challenges.  

The governor appealed to all residents of Kaduna State to continue to do their utmost for peace and harmony in all our communities. He assured residents of the state government’s unwavering commitment and determination to rally every resource to address the security challenges and make our communities safer for life, liberty and livelihoods.

Malam Nasir El-Rufai prays Allah to bless the people of Kaduna State and their endeavours and to bring peace, prosperity and progress to Nigeria.
