 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. MUSICIAN SMALL DOCTOR REVEALED HE DOESN'T DRINK NOR SMOKE.(PHOTO).

 Popular Nigerian singer, Temitope Adekunle whose stage name is Small Doctor, has revealed that he doesn’t drink alcohol nor smoke any substance.

He made the revelation while being interviewed on Beat FM, Lagos, and noted that he never engaged in any of those vices even before he became famous.

Small Doctor, famously known for his hit song, ‘Penalty’ also said he doesn’t womanize.

He said; “I don’t drink, I don’t smoke…I don’t womanize. I don’t have a vice. Trust me.

“No cap. I have been like this since like a decade ago, trust me. Even before I got Visa to any other country.”

The singer added that he doesn’t indulge in social vices because of his family background.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
