 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. PDP Congratulates Gov. Adeleke on Birthday
…Says He Embodies the Hope, Aspiration of Osun State People

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family congratulates the Governor of Osun State, our own dear Senator Ademola Adeleke, as he marks his birthday today, describing him as a good-natured leader with a heart for the people.

Senator Adeleke is a very humble, caring, compassionate and committed leader; a dedicated administrator and people’s governor who embodies the hope, aspiration and determination of the people of Osun State in their quest for purposeful leadership, development and economic sustenance. 

Our Party notes with pride, Governor Adeleke’s sense of urgency in redirecting governance towards meeting the needs of the people of Osun State immediately he was sworn in on November 27, 2022 as demonstrated in the array of legacy human capital and infrastructural projects in the State since the commencement of his administration.

The PDP commends Governor Adeleke’s accelerated infrastructural development achievements and job creation in critical sectors including power, healthcare, education, road construction, rural electrification, water resources, agriculture and food production among others in line with the manifesto, policies and programmes of the PDP.

Our Party is delighted by the policy thrust of the Governor Adeleke’s administration with which he is restoring and repositioning Osun State towards greater productivity to the admiration of all.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
