 Putin warns of global clash as Russia marks victory in World War II Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the West on Thursday of risking a global conflict and said no one would be allowed to threaten the world’s biggest nuclear power as Russia marked the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in World War II. As Russian troops advance against Ukraine’s Western-backed forces, Putin accused “arrogant” Western elites of forgetting the decisive role played by the Soviet Union in defeating Nazi Germany, and of stoking conflicts across the world. “We know what the exorbitance of such ambitions leads to. Russia will do everything to prevent a global clash,” Putin said on Red Square after Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reviewed troops lined up in a rare May blizzard. “But at the same time, we will not allow anyone to threaten us. PDP Congratulates Gov. Adeleke on Birthday
…Says He Embodies the Hope, Aspiration of Osun State People

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family congratulates the Governor of Osun State, our own dear Senator Ademola Adeleke, as he marks his birthday today, describing him as a good-natured leader with a heart for the people.

Senator Adeleke is a very humble, caring, compassionate and committed leader; a dedicated administrator and people’s governor who embodies the hope, aspiration and determination of the people of Osun State in their quest for purposeful leadership, development and economic sustenance. 

Our Party notes with pride, Governor Adeleke’s sense of urgency in redirecting governance towards meeting the needs of the people of Osun State immediately he was sworn in on November 27, 2022 as demonstrated in the array of legacy human capital and infrastructural projects in the State since the commencement of his administration.

The PDP commends Governor Adeleke’s accelerated infrastructural development achievements and job creation in critical sectors including power, healthcare, education, road construction, rural electrification, water resources, agriculture and food production among others in line with the manifesto, policies and programmes of the PDP.

Our Party is delighted by the policy thrust of the Governor Adeleke’s administration with which he is restoring and repositioning Osun State towards greater productivity to the admiration of all. 

The PDP rejoices with Governor Adeleke on his birthday and prays to God to bless him with many more years of celebration, in good health to the glory of His name and service to Osun State, our nation and humanity.

 Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
