 Group demands declaration of Aba North Assembly seat vacant, threatens protest A group known as the Coalition of Aba North Ethnic Youth Groups has mandated the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Emmanuel Emereuwa to declare the Aba North seat vacant in seven days. The Aba North seat has been a subject of controversy since November 27, 2023, when the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos sacked Destiny Nwagwu of LP and declared Aaron Uzodike of the PDP, the duly elected member to represent Aba North. However, the seat has remained unoccupied since November 2023, as Uzodike of PDP has not been inaugurated by the Speaker, despite his several appeals. A fresh controversy erupted Friday, as the Coalition of Aba North Ethnic Youths Groups, asked the Speaker to declare the seat vacant within seven days or expect a city-wide protest in Aba. I don’t expect to be loved totally, says actress Iyabo Ojo

Actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to backlashes over her involvement in the quest for justice for late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka MohBad.
In a post on her IG page, she shaded trolls by saying she couldn’t be bothered about them because nobody, not even God ,is loved 100%.
The mother of two said she will continue to pursue her goals, finding strength in the Lord and in the people who genuinely care about her.
“No one, not even God, is loved on a 100%
“So why worry about the haters? Abegi, do you, draw strength from the Lord & those who truly love you & stay winning…. shikena,” she wrote.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
