 Rep. John Larson files impeachment articles against Trump over Iran war threats     Rep. John Larson announced Tuesday that he has filed articles of impeachment against President Trump, citing the president’s recent social media post threatening to destroy a “whole civilization” if the Strait of Hormuz was not immediately reopened. Larson said Trump’s actions in the ongoing war in Iran are illegal and endangering American lives and the economy. The filing comes after Trump temporarily paused the strikes for two weeks following Pakistan’s request for an extended deadline to allow diplomatic efforts. Larson criticized Trump’s remarks, including his Easter Sunday post, as increasingly unstable and a threat to U.S. security. Seventy Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Oyedepo's son leaves Living Faith Church to start his own ministry.

Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has resigned from his position as national youth pastor of the Youth Alive Fellowship (YAF), the youth arm of the church. 

This was disclosed by Church Gist, a platform owned by Pastor Leke Beecroft, one of the pastoral assistants at the church’s headquarters in Ota. 

Just last month, September 2023, Isaac was announced as the national youth pastor of YAF, taking over from Pastor David Nwabueze who was transferred to Nasarawa State. 

Isaac is said to be planning to begin a new ministry independent of the Living Faith Church. 

He was ordained as a Living Faith Church pastor by American preacher Kenneth Copeland in May 2007. 

In a recent interview, he said his purpose in life was “to reclaim a generation and to ensure that this generation sees the fire God’s revival in our generation.” 

Isaac pastored the Winners Chapel International in South Africa; Maryland, United States; and Lokogoma, Abuja before he was redeployed to the headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
