 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. I’m In Charge Of My Father's Account, Mr Ibu's Son Debunks Actor's Wife’s Claims

Daniel Okafor, the second son to actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has debunked claims by Stella Okafor, the actor's wife, that Jasmine, Mr. Ibu's adopted child, hijacked his bank account. 

Stella took to her Instagram page on Sunday to allege that Jasmine hijacked the bank account where money was donated for the ailing actor by well-meaning Nigerians. 

Her post partly read, "I do not have access to the main Access bank account where people make donations. It is being secretly controlled by Jazmine yet she is cooking up all kinds of lies and propaganda against me to keep absolute control of that account. How she manipulated her way and took control of that account is a story for another day." 

PUNCH Online contacted Jasmine, who stated that she had no comment. 

“I do not want to be involved with the online drama, at least not yet. I am more concerned for Daddy's well-being,” she said. 

Jasmine suggested that our correspondent speak with Mr. Ibu's son, who introduced himself as Daniel Okafor. 

"My name is Daniel Okafor; I am John Okafor's second son. 

"There is no truth in what Stella Maris has been sharing online. Jasmine does not have access to that account; I have access to it. I am the signatory to the account and my father's next of kin." 

Daniel also disclosed that Stella Maris is his stepmother, refusing to share more details about his mother. 

"She is my step mother. My mother is not around at the moment," Daniel said.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
