 Ex-NHIS Boss Accuses Tinubu of Using EFCC to Silence Critics Professor Usman Yusuf, former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of deploying the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to suppress dissent, claiming he was treated like a criminal to silence his criticism of the government. The allegations were made during an interview on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Yusuf, who was arraigned by the EFCC in February 2025 on a five-count fraud charge before the Federal Capital Territory High Court, pleaded not guilty. He described his detention as a targeted effort to intimidate him, stating, “This government deliberately denied me bail to shake me up… all to try and silence me. PENNSYLVANIA MOM IS HORRIFIED TO FIND A MAN HAS BROKEN INTO THEIR HOME 4 TIMES TO WATCH HER 9-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER SLEEP. (PHOTO).

Pennsylvania mom is horrified to find a man has broken into their home 4 times to watch her 9-year-old daughter sleep.

Tiffany Szabara of Coatesville, Pennsylvania says her home has been broken into on 4 separate occasions since September. The truly disturbing detail is that each time the man breaks in, he goes straight to her 9 year old daughter's room. Once inside the room, the man seems to talk to the sleeping child or he will just stand there, watching her sleep.

Local authorities have been notified, and in addition to extra patrols and detectives investigating, they are reaching out to the public asking for help identifying the intruder.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
