 HERDSMEN KILL DRIVER ON HUMANITARIAN MISSION IN TARABA STATE  10th January, 2026      A commercial driver, Mr. Amishe Omeny, has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen while on a humanitarian visit to a displaced community in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The deceased, from Tse Amise after Tseem, was reportedly attacked on Friday within Chanchanji Ward as he travelled to Adokia, a displaced settlement located after Tseem Sabe. He was said to have gone to the area to assist villagers with the transportation of foodstuffs. Sources in the community told Benue Info-pedia, that Omeny volunteered his services as a driver to support residents affected by ongoing insecurity, when he was ambushed and killed by the assailants. The killing has sparked grief and outrage among residents, who described the incident as tragic and senseless. Rosy Meurer breaks silence as identity of husband, Churchill’s alleged side chic gets revealed

Rosy Meurer, a Nollywood actress, has responded to rumors that her husband, Olakunle Churchill, is planning to take a new wife.

The couple has been embroiled in several marital crises for weeks, but they appear to be growing stronger and putting up a strong front.

Gistlover, an anonymous Instagram blogger, claimed that Olakunle Churchill has another woman, Lisa Yaro, whom he claims is his sister. According to the blog, Churchill has beaten Rosy several times because of his new wife, whom he intends to marry.

Gistlover also claimed that Churchill is interested in the Northern lady because of her status and intends to do Nikka with her.

Rosy Meurer responded to the rumors on her Instagram story.

The mother of two who is having sleepless nights, urged her fans to help her beg her son so she could take a nap. She noted how her son always loves to be the hot dog in the middle.

“Can someone beg King to give Mommy and Papa some space. It’s how he always want to be the hotdog in the middle for me”.

In another post, she lamented over the difficulty of being a mother, which is lack of sleep. She wrote,

“Look who’s up. Sleep was just getting sweet.

Why I’m up at odd hours or very early, Motherhood no sleep for me until she falls back asleep. Change of diaper and clothes always does the magic.

Just look at this. As for King, tomorrow you’re going back to sleep with grandma. Her flu is better”.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
